Garrafeira Nacional commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance that reflects their age. We select brands/regions that typically reveal distinct characteristics in old wine tastings. However, we note that wine is a living organism that, when exposed to time, can evolve in aroma even while sealed in a bottle. Thus Garrafeira Nacional cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, given that it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine air out beforehand, which helps release its natural aromas after so many years closed.
