This Haut-Bailly, rooted in the exceptional chalky soils of Léognan, delivers a truly remarkable experience. The blend – 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, and a touch of Cabernet Franc – creates a stunning level of complexity. Following 18 months ageing in 50% new French oak barrels, which adds a vibrant burst of fresh fruit, the resulting wine is both full-bodied and intensely concentrated, firmly placing it amongst the region's finest – a remarkable 98/100 according to Jeb Dunnuck. It would be superb paired with a rich roast, allowing the fruit and structure of the wine to truly shine.
