The bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is to be expected given their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, yet it always preserves the visual appearance inherent to their age. We curate a selection of brands/regions that, by nature, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we note that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, its aromas evolve. Thus, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. We recommend opening the bottle and letting the wine aerate beforehand to release its natural aromas after many years sealed. If you choose to decant before serving, do so patiently to detect the sediment that an old wine tends to develop. (Illustrative image only)
