Château La Lagune produces a 3rd Grand Cru Classé of Bordeaux, a blend of the emblematic Médoc grape varieties that has, over the years, earned a reputation for balance, refinement and elegance. The La Lagune vineyard covers 80 hectares, where effort and dedication combine to implement an environmentally friendly viticulture based on organic and biodynamic practices. The official transition to organic farming began in 2013, with certification expected for the 2016 harvest. This natural approach, tailored to each plot, plays a key role in the wines’ quality, allowing the fruit to fully express the complexity and nuance of the terroir, which the wine inherits through patient, precise vinification and maturation in barrels using the traditional method.
