The bottles of older wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is normal given their age. The National Wine Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the proper temperature and humidity, but it always keeps the visual appearance consistent with the wine’s age. We select brands and regions that, by default, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we want to remind you that wine is a living organism that is exposed to time, and even while sealed in a bottle, its aromas can evolve in different ways. Therefore, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the quality of the product, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe first, which will help release its natural aromas after many years of closure. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, be patient and watch for the appearance of sediment, which is typical for an old wine. (Illustrative image)
