Old bottles of wine may show traces of dust and damaged labels, in keeping with their age. Garrafeira Nacional undertakes to store all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We have selected brands and regions that, as a rule, display distinctive characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, please note that wine is a living organism that is exposed to time, and even while inside a bottle, its aromas are subject to different evolutions. For this reason, Garrafeira Nacional cannot be held responsible for the quality of the product, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years of being closed.
