Garrafeira Nacional commits to store all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, yet always chooses to preserve the visual appearance that comes with their age. We select brands and regions that typically reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we note that wine is a living organism, and even when sealed in a bottle, its aromas evolve over time. Therefore, Garrafeira Nacional cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe beforehand, which will help release its natural aromas after many years of being sealed.
