The Château Los Boldos Tradition Réserve Merlot 2022 is a red wine produced in the Cachapoal Valley by Château Los Boldos. This Merlot stands out for its balanced and elegant profile, reflecting the excellent harvest conditions. It presents a bright ruby colour, and on the nose it reveals expressive aromas of tart cherry, plum and blueberries, with a touch of spice highlighted by black pepper. In the mouth it is balanced and enveloping, with velvety tannins and a smooth, elegant finish. Thirty per cent of the wine ages for ten months in second‑ and third‑use barrels, where malolactic fermentation softens the tannins and adds complexity, while the remaining 70 % are aged in stainless‑steel tanks, preserving its freshness and fruit expression. It pairs well with grilled meats, pasta with rich sauces, stews or aged cheeses.
