The bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is consistent with their age. The National Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We conduct a selection of brands/regions that, by nature, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we inform that wine is a living organism that, when exposed to time, even within a bottle, its aromas are subject to various evolutions. Thus, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, given that it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and allow the wine to breathe beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, make sure you do so patiently to detect the appearance of sediment, which a typical aged wine tends to develop. (illustrative image only)
