This young Talbot Caillou is a delightful surprise from the heart of the Médoc. A bold Sauvignon Blanc dominates, tempered beautifully by a generous 49% of new oak and an extended eight-month lees stirring (bâtonnage). The limestone terroir, a hidden gem across five hectares, imparts a vibrant acidity. Unexpectedly, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon contribute a sophisticated layer – truly a wine that begs for fresh seafood or a particularly decadent orange duck.
