Bottles of older wines may show dust residues and damaged labels, which is normal given their age. The National Wine Cellar ensures all wines are stored at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always maintains the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, by default, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we note that wine is a living organism that, when exposed to time, still undergoes various evolutions even while sealed. Consequently, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years of closure. If you choose to decant before serving, be patient to detect the appearance of sediment, which an old wine tends to produce. (Illustrative image)
