Casa Relvas is a family‑run venture that started in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas. It seeks to carry forward a five‑generation heritage steeped in a deep passion for the Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years, the family has grown alongside the business, and the estate now covers roughly 750 hectares of native forest, 225 hectares of olive groves, and 350 hectares of vineyards—all managed through integrated production. With its three properties—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas is capable of producing about 6 million bottles of wine each year, 70 % of which are destined for the international market.
