Description

The vineyards of Fundação Abreu Callado, all planted near Benavila, date back to the mid‑1950s, and some of these pioneering varieties are still in production today. The estate covers about 52 hectares of loamy soils, benefitting from the favorable climate created by the Maranhão Dam, which is reflected in the quality and excellence of the wines. Also located in Benavila, the winery preserves traditional winemaking and ageing methods alongside modern techniques, and has the capacity to store two to three consecutive harvests.
