This Baga from Herdade do Rocim, straight from the Lower Alentejo, is a seriously ambitious project. The vineyard’s franco-argiloso and sandy soils clearly deliver on the quality front, and the frankly impressive wine-making architecture only adds to the experience. It’s a wine brimming with Baga character, and one that the producer clearly wants to raise the bar for the region – a fantastic match for a good grilled fish, wouldn’t you say?
