Clos La Madeleine is a property of only 2.3 hectares situated on the south‑facing plateau of Saint‑Émilion. The estate was acquired by Ets. Jean‑Pierre Moueix in September 2017. The vineyard at Clos La Madeleine is planted on limestone rocks, some areas of which are covered by just 50 cm of clay, and is managed with care year‑round. A manual, selective harvest yields elegance and minerality, hallmarks of the surrounding terroir. The wines are fermented not only in stainless‑steel tanks but also in large oak tunnels, then aged in new French oak barrels for 16 to 18 months. (illustrative image only)
