“This Concept by Barbeito is a real journey through time, crafted with grapes harvested with the traditional, almost frantic, pace they’re known for. The foot treading, the stone lagar, and the generous use of aguardente – a hefty 77% ABV – all hark back to a method Barbeito has mastered over decades. It’s a wine that simultaneously celebrates authenticity and showcases the unique character of the Douro terroir. Seriously, it pairs brilliantly with Bacalhau à Brás – a perfect counterpoint to its intensity.”
