This unique concept from the Douro presents a quite demanding white wine. Fermentation in French oak barrels, with that constant agitation for 11 months in new wood, hints at a wine with an incredibly elegant texture – almost a plea for patience. The Rabigato certainly brings a freshness, but the influence of the Codega and Gouveio adds depth and complexity that promises to be utterly delightful with grilled white fish and a squeeze of lemon.
