This Conde de Ervideira is a deliciously perplexing wine – you’ll genuinely wonder if you’re drinking sparkling wine or something altogether more divine. The *Revista de Vinhos* certainly didn’t mislead us with their impressive 17 points; the Arinto-driven acidity playfully intertwines with the Verdelho’s lightness, while the Antão Vaz adds a layer of sophistication that clearly hails from the Alentejo’s unique grape varieties. Expect a fine, persistent mousse and a graceful finish – perfect with a nicely grilled fish, of course.
