According to its age, the wines may show marks left by time, such as dust traces on the bottles and/or some label damage—common in vintages stored for decades. The National Winery stores all wines at the proper temperature and humidity but keeps their visual age intact. We typically choose brands/regions that perform well in old‑wine competitions. Yet wine is a living organism, and even inside a bottle its aromas evolve over time. Therefore the National Winery cannot be held liable for the wine’s quality, as it is an aged wine. We recommend opening the bottle and letting it breathe first, which will help release its natural aromas after many years closed. Avoid decanting, as it can be too aggressive for old wines.
