This Superior Costa Boal is a delightful surprise, shaking off any preconceptions of the Cima Corgo. Built on Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca with a touch of Sousão, it presents a deep, vibrant ruby – as noted by Revista de Vinhos. Expect a journey of red fruit, spice and a hint of balsamic toast, thanks to its 18 months aging in French oak. The result is a wine with a lively acidity and remarkably fine tannins, offering elegance and balance, ideal for pairing with grilled beef or aged cheeses. A limited run of just 6,000 bottles – definitely one to seek out.
