Crasto: The vineyards, over 20 years old, sit at 600 m altitude on granite soils with east‑to‑north exposure. The vine training follows a high‑vine system on tiers of 1 and 2 vines, which promotes excellent drainage and sunlight capture. The 2024 harvest benefited from favourable weather in the Douro, with precipitation near historic averages and slightly above‑normal temperatures, yielding an excellent quality vintage. Careful vineyard management avoided diseases such as mildew and powdery mildew, ensuring a balanced production. Grapes ripened slowly and evenly due to mild daytime temperatures and cool nights, producing vibrant and complex white and rosé wines, while reds stand out for depth and elegance. **Vinification:** 40 % Viosinho, 30 % Gouveio, 30 % Rabigato. Grapes from selected plots were transported in 22 kg crates and rigorously sorted in the cellar. After de‑pulping and pressing, the must was transferred to an 8 °C stainless‑steel vat for 48 h of decantation. Fermentation primarily took place in stainless‑steel, with a small portion of the batch fermenting in a barrel at 14 °C for 30 days. **Aging:** 85 % of the batch fermented and matured in stainless‑steel vats for 3 months, with partial bâtonnage on fine lees. The remaining 15 % fermented and aged in used 225‑liter French oak barrels, also with bâtonnage for 3 months. **Bottling:** March 2025 **Enologists:** Cátia Barbeta and Manuel Lobo. **Analytical Data:** Total acidity: 5.4 g L⁻¹ | pH: 3.49 | Residual sugar: 1.8 g L⁻¹ Allergen information Contains sulfites.
