This Crato is a proper statement of Touriga Franca – you can really feel the Douro in it. It’s intensely concentrated, echoing the hillside where it grew, with a determined spirit. Expect ripe black fruit and a hint of spice, a classic Douro full-bodied wine, ideally paired with a hearty roast or, perhaps, a generous slice of Iberian ham.
