This “Criatura” from the Lisbon region is a remarkably smooth wine, as if it’s spent some time listening to late-night jazz sessions before bottling. The wild berry fruit elegantly intertwines with the oak – oak that clearly enjoys a good chat with the wine, ensuring seamless integration. There’s a pleasantly assertive finish, a little grip that reminds you, sometimes, subtlety needs a touch of attitude. A fantastic pairing would be with a good fillet of sea bass with eel.
