The Alenquer region, situated between the Serra de Montejunto and the banks of the Tagus River, is defined by a series of gentle, idyllic slopes ideal for wine production. The natural layout of the landscape shields the vines from humid, cold Atlantic winds, preserving a temperate climate. Chrono tinto, produced exclusively from the Tinta Amarela grape, displays a cherry‑red hue with an open intensity and a medium‑lasting run. Its aroma is delicate, featuring forest fruits, spices and tobacco leaf, while notes of caramel, smoke and coffee arise from ageing in French oak barrels. In the mouth it is dry, balanced and leaves a long, pleasant finish.
