Stump Jump is an Australian type of plough that lets you hop over stumps, roots and rocks without breaking. According to the D’Arenberg cellar, its inventor, in the nineteenth century, suffered from vision problems and needed regular eye checks to keep using his creation. Hence the label design of D’Arenberg The Stump Jump White Blend draws on the optometrist’s letter charts used to assess sight. The original label hints at the equally enticing blend of Riesling, Marsanne, Sauvignon Blanc and Roussanne found inside the bottle—an aromatic delight of pineapple, passion‑fruit or guava, melon and a crisp, refreshing finish.
