Descobre Tinto

Description

This "Descobre" from the Douro is a surprisingly bold wine, immediately delivering a rush of strawberry and plum. The tannins are robust, reminiscent of a well-seasoned oak trunk, but thankfully balanced with a lovely roundness. Blended with Tinta Barroca, Touriga Nacional and Aragonez, it’s a genuinely impressive achievement from the region – seriously, it would pair beautifully with a hearty, slow-cooked roast.
