Crafted from vines exceeding 120 years, including the legendary Quinta de Nápoles, it’s a fascinating mix of 60% Douro, predominantly with traditional castas like Touriga Nacional, Jaen, and Alfrocheiro, alongside 40% Dão. The result is a full-bodied wine with firm tannins and a pronounced granite minerality. Fermented in lagares, retaining that beautiful human touch, and aged in French oak barrels, it achieves a remarkable balance between intense fruit and complex aromas – think dark blossoms and a subtle caraway note.
