This wine was fermented with the skins in contact and in a natural way in very old barrels, where it spent an additional six months maturing in the same barrels. Made from Touriga Nacional grapes, it presents earthy and mineral notes. On the palate it reveals a fresh mineral profile, and it has not been pressed nor filtered. Artemis is a wine brand born in the Dão, later joined by the Algarve region, convinced that the two can complement each other. These two regions, with such different characteristics, were chosen to plant vines with the aim of capturing the vast richness and quality produced in each, and to create distinct, excellent wines that express the terroir of their estates. DOM VICENTE, the main brand, is a simple homage to the grandfather – Manuel Vicente. A Beirão of four sides, a man whose noble character and singular personality greatly contributed to awakening a love for nature, its harmony, colors and scents.
