This Dom Vicente is a lovely little tribute to a Beira winegrower grandfather, and it truly reflects that noble character. The vineyard expresses itself beautifully with concentrated, red fruit – think a touch of compote – that lingers delightfully on the palate, underpinned by a subtle mineral note reminiscent of the Dão’s terroir. Maturation in oak has added a welcome spice, and the finish is remarkably long, refined, and utterly honest – a wine that demands a good steak.
