The bottles of old wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is to be expected given their age. Garrafeira Nacional is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We carry out a selection of brands/regions that, normally, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we inform that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, its aromas are subject to various evolutions. Thus, Garrafeira Nacional cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after many years of being closed.
