Dominó The idea behind Dominó came from a single visit to a vineyard and the thought: if you’re going to make a wine, it has to come from a vineyard like that. This vineyard is located in the idyllic natural park of Serra de São Mamede, in the north‑Alentejo plain. Its atypical altitude for what we consider Alentejo wines—warm and soft—places Dominó outside the plain, where the old‑vine grapes have their own life. Far from consensus, this is my wine and reflects the philosophy I now believe in. A light, rustic wine with personality. It also finds a special place in my kitchen—a wine with “identity,” or simply… wine. – Vítor Claro Origin / Denomination: Vinho de Portugal Vineyard Small plots in Serra de São Mamede, Portalegre, Alentejo. Fluor‑argillaceous soils with varied sun exposure. Classic planting of old‑vine vineyards of Serra de São Mamede, Alentejo.
