This white is one of two that make up the Eleivera white–red pair, crafted by the visionary French winemaker Michel Chapoutier, who arrived in 2009 in the Alto Douro with a clear goal to produce wines from a three‑hectare plot under the Dos Lusíadas project in Cima Corgo. A blend of native Portuguese varieties grown on granitic sands yields a fresh, expansive white that retains a touch of tension.
