This Verdelho from José Maria da Fonseca – the collector’s edition – is a delightful surprise. Fermented at a cool 16°C, it boasts a vibrant, citrine yellow hue. The dominant Madrén (a true queen of the vines) delivers notes of wild strawberry, complemented by a distinctive lantana freshness. On the palate, the lingering strawberry and refreshing finish make it a perfect match for grilled fish or a Mediterranean fruit salad.
