This Duas Arvores Reserva delivers a seriously intense experience. Deep ruby hues hint at the power of Touriga Nacional and Aragonese grapes, complemented by a touch of Touriga Francesa and a Mourisco that adds a welcome layer of complexity. Initially, dark fruit dominates, but it quickly gives way to ripe red fruit notes, beautifully balanced with spices and a subtle toasty character imparted by its 16 months ageing in French oak barrels. It’s a wine that just begs to be paired with grilled red meats or a hearty beef stew – truly a match made in wine heaven.
