Duas Quintas The Duas Quintas brand is synonymous with blends (Quinta de Ervamoira and Quinta dos Bons Ares) sourced from both low‑ and high‑altitude vineyards, combining maturity and freshness on slate and granite soils. The Reserva Branco is a perfect portrait of our terroir—intense, pleasantly surprising in its natural freshness, and elegant. It has a unique personality and can be enjoyed young while also possessing great aging potential. **The Year** Winter was rainy, spring brought occasional showers, and summer was quite dry. The vegetative cycle advanced early in all stages, thanks to soil moisture and mild spring temperatures. July and August were hot. White grapes from Quinta de Ervamoira were harvested from early August to mid‑September, while those from Quinta dos Bons Ares began in mid‑August and finished by the third week of September. **Vinification** We selected the best parcels from our Quinta de Ervamoira and Quinta dos Bons Ares for Duas Quintas Reserva Branco 2024. Numerous clump tastings were conducted until the optimal harvest moment was found. Grapes are hand‑picked and transported to the cellar in small boxes, sorted by variety and parcel. After a whole‑cluster, cold maceration of about 24 hours, the grapes are gently pressed—no crushing or breaking—to preserve freshness and aroma purity. The must ferments in 70 % stainless‑steel tanks and 30 % oak barrels (balsa and acacia) of varying capacities, where it matures for nine months with bâtonnage. The wine was bottled in June 2025. **Pairing** Serve with cooked or grilled crustaceans, grilled rooster fish, or baked sea bass.
