This Eira São Miguel from Casa Relvas certainly packs a punch – a wine built for serious grilling. Blended with Encruzado, Arinto, Antão Vaz and Rabo de Ovelha, it’s a full-bodied white with a ripe white fruit character, elevated by the distinctive complexity only the Douro Valley can deliver. Definitely a match for roasted lamb or veal, but also worth exploring alongside a good entrecôte or a poussin that needs a wine with a bit of presence.
