The Esporão company was born in Alentejo from an unconditional desire to create the finest wines. This motivation is the legacy behind all its wines and the primary reason it has broadened its range to other products and territories. The Esporão estate, located in the heart of Alentejo, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, offers unique agricultural conditions – wide temperature swings, poor but varied soils, and extraordinary biodiversity that supports balanced production with the environment. Covering roughly 702 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, and other crops managed through a biological production system, it now cultivates around 40 grape varieties, four olive varieties, as well as fruit trees and vegetable gardens.
