The Esporão company was born in Alentejo from an unshakeable desire to make the best wines. This motivation underpins all of its wines and is the main reason it has expanded its range to other products and territories. Esporão Estate, situated in the heart of Alentejo in Reguengos de Monsaraz, offers unique agricultural conditions—wide diurnal temperature swings, poor and varied soils, and extraordinary biodiversity that helps produce in harmony with the environment. With roughly 702 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and other crops cultivated under a Biological Production system, it now encompasses about 40 grape varieties, four olive varieties, orchards and vegetable gardens.
