The Esporão company was born in Alentejo from an unconditional desire to produce the best wines. This motivation is the legacy behind all its wines and the main reason for expanding its range into other products and territories. The Esporão estate, located in the heart of Alentejo in Reguengos de Monsaraz, offers unique agricultural conditions – wide temperature swings, poor yet varied soils, and an extraordinary biodiversity that helps produce in harmony with the environment. With about 702 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and other crops cultivated under a Biological Production Method, it now incorporates around 40 grape varieties, four olive varieties, fruit trees, and vegetable gardens.
