The Esporão company was born in Alentejo from an unwavering desire to make the finest wines. This motivation underpins all its wines and is the main reason it has broadened its range to other products and territories. The Esporão Estate, located in the heart of Alentejo in Reguengos de Monsaraz, boasts unique agricultural conditions – wide temperature swings, poor but varied soils, and extraordinary biodiversity that helps maintain harmony with the environment. With about 702 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, and other crops nurtured by a Biological Production Method, the estate now cultivates roughly 40 grape varieties, four olive types, fruit trees, and gardens.
