The Esporão company was born in Alentejo from an unshakable desire to produce the best wines. This motivation is the legacy behind all of its wines and the main reason for expanding its range into other products and regions. The Esporão estate, located in the heart of Alentejo, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, offers unique agricultural conditions – large temperature swings, poor and varied soils, and an extraordinary biodiversity that helps produce in harmony with the environment. With about 702 hectares of vines, olive groves and other crops supported by Organic Production Methods, it now incorporates around 40 grape varieties, 4 olive varieties, fruit trees and vegetable gardens.
