In 1950, a group of nine wine producers from the Province of Reggio Emilia founded the Cooperativa Cantine Riunite. Eleven years later, four wineries from the Province of Modena followed their example and established the Consorzio Interprovinciale Vini (CIV). The “Maschio dei Cavalieri” line exemplifies the philosophy of innovation: the careful use of cold‑extraction techniques truly accentuates the release of flavours and aromas from the raw material, producing wines capable of satisfying even the most discerning palates and making them ideal for special occasions.
