This Murganheira Grande Reserva delivers a burst of joyful intensity, driven by the Aragonez which provides a wonderfully vibrant acidity and notes reminiscent of a perfectly ripe black plum. Classic Malvasia Fina elegantly balances everything with floral nuances and a hint of herbaceousness. The Touriga Nacional, the undisputed queen of the Bairrada, adds structure and complexity, hinting at red berry nuances and a remarkably persistent finish – ideally suited to complement confit of cod or a generous helping of Serra da Estrela cheese.
