Sharp, acidic, and aromatic, this wine shows how the Gewürztraminer grape thrives in the high‑altitude vineyards of Cogolludo (Guadalajara), planted at nearly 1,000 metres. A true “stroke of luck,” the Fuentes family—its producers—concede, but it would not be possible without expert viticultural skill. Its distinctive finish is spiced with a slight bitterness that invites you to keep drinking, evoking the dry whites of Italy’s Alto Adige.
