This “Flor do Tua” – hailing from the aged vineyards of Trás-os-Montes – is a wonderfully earthy expression, largely thanks to the Touriga Nacional and Touriga Francesa. It’s a medium-bodied wine with rich dark fruit notes, reminiscent of plump raisins and black cherries, underpinned by a subtle spice character reflective of the region’s challenging terroir. Remarkably drinkable at 17°C, it possesses a surprising structure that would pair beautifully with a hearty beef stew, or perhaps a traditional *cozido à portuguesa* – a truly satisfying combination.
