This Framingham Pinot Noir, hailing from the heart of Marlborough’s Wairau Valley, is a genuine expression of elegance. The meticulous winemaking – featuring a healthy 10% whole cluster and extended skin contact – delivers an astonishingly silky texture and vibrant freshness. Characterized by the influence of the clay-rich soils and specific clones, the wine boasts a truly complex profile, with ripe fruit notes and a certain finesse unique to the Conders Bend, Southern Valleys and Waihopai terroir. A wine best enjoyed now, but with the potential to gracefully mature. Wonderful with fresh salmon or wild mushrooms, naturally.
