A cava that emerged after a visit from the Kings to the winery, hence its name. Its production has three distinctive features: first, a small proportion of Reserva wine is used in the blend; secondly, the bottle is corked rather than with a typical crown cap to allow the sparkling wine to evolve during bottle ageing, so the disgorgement must be performed manually. After more than 30 months of ageing, the result is a cava with complex aromas dominated by dried fruits, and an elegant, lively, well‑structured palate.
