“This Freixo is crafted with a wonderfully restrained elegance, harvested by hand from a carefully selected vineyard and bottled in 18kg boxes. The technique of complete délestage – gently draining the juice – really allows the fresh berry fruit flavours to shine through, alongside a delicate finesse. Fermented in stainless steel at 12-14°C, it expertly maintains the vibrancy of the Touriga Nacional grapes. A truly delightful pairing would be with grilled fish or a light summer salad.”
