Gaja Sori San Lorenzo takes its name from the estate where its grapes are sourced – one of the few individual properties that the renowned Gaja winery, led by the fourth generation of the namesake family, owns in the Langhe sub‑zone of Piedmont. It is produced exclusively from Nebbiolo and spends 12 months ageing in barrels, then another year in larger wooden casks called “botti.” The wine offers pronounced aromas of ripe fruit, subtle spice notes and a smooth yet firm structure on the palate, making it ideal for pairing with hearty dishes such as game, red meats or roasts.
