Gianni Gagliardo – The distinctly sandy soil of the Roero area, from which it comes, gives it a unique character and sets it apart from most other Langhe Nebbiolos. The DaBatiè is, in fact, a particularly delicate and flavorful expression of the Nebbiolo grape. Vinification: manual selection of bunches; maceration in stainless‑steel tanks for 10 to 15 days. Aging: a few months in stainless steel before bottling. Recommended pairings: delicate ragùs, white meats, grilled tuna, soft cheeses.
